## How to Complain to the European Department of Air Travel
### Overview
The European Department of Air Travel (EDAT) is responsible for enforcing air passenger rights in the European Union (EU). If you have experienced a problem with an airline while traveling within the EU, you can file a complaint with the EDAT.
### How to File a Complaint
You can file a complaint with the EDAT online, by post, or by phone.

* Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the online complaint form
**By post**
* Download the complaint form from the EDAT website
* Print and fill out the form
* Mail the completed form to:
