I’ve always been a city girl, but I’ve recently discovered the beauty of the great outdoors. I recently took a road trip to the Catskill Mountains, and I was blown away by the stunning scenery. The mountains are covered in lush forests, and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore. I also visited the Hudson Valley, which is home to charming towns and historic sites. I highly recommend getting out of the city and exploring the beautiful natural attractions that New York State has to offer.

The Catskill Mountains

The mountains are covered in lush forests, and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore. I hiked to the summit of Hunter Mountain, the highest peak in the Catskills, and the views from the top were incredible. I also visited Kaaterskill Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in New York State. It was an amazing sight to see the water cascading down the cliffs.

In addition to hiking, there are many other activities to enjoy in the Catskill Mountains. I went kayaking on the Esopus Creek, and I had a blast paddling through the crystal-clear waters. I also visited the Catskill Mountain Railroad, and I took a scenic train ride through the mountains. It was a great way to relax and enjoy the scenery.
